Geneva man missing for almost two weeks

DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) - Brett Joshua Grantham, 35, was last seen in Geneva on Saturday, August 22. Grantham was last seen wearing a black shirt, black pants and black shoes.
He was last seen on foot on Franklin Avenue which is only a mile from his home.
His parents told police that there was nothing unusual about the day he went missing. He came home from work for a few minutes and left. He has not been back to work since his disappearance and police said Grantham does not have a cell phone.
Captain Michael McDuffie said they have done several ground and air searches for Grantham over the last nine days.
Police received a tip on his vehicle being found, Capt. McDuffie said they secured the vehicle South of Geneva on Franklin Ave. Police continued searching the area, but have had no luck.
“But as of right now, we are still kind of at a dead end,” Capt. McDuffie said. “We haven’t got any new information. So, we ask on the night of the 22nd of August, anyone along Ward Street, Franklin or Skyline Avenue happen to see this young man walking or may have heard anything to please contact us and let us know.”
The Geneva Police Department, Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, State Bureau of Investigation and Geneva County Sheriffs Department are all working the case. Holmes county has been assisting in running down information that’s across the line that they receive.
