Dale Co Emergency Management lending a hand to hurricane victims

DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) - Dale County EMA is lending a helping hand. They’re helping those effected by Hurricane Laura.

By collecting donations to send to effected areas but they need the public’s help.

“The world the way things are now it’s always nice to do positive and help so we are asking for these supplies to ship to Louisiana and Texas whichever areas need the most or however much we get but everything will be going down there to the effected people,” said Kurt Mcdaniel - Dale Co EMA Director.

They are looking for items such as

batteriesblanketswatersanitizer
soapstoothbrushes/toothpastetentsportable grills
camp geartarpslanternsmatches
non-perishable foodsMRE’smedical suppliesdiapers

The items can be dropped-off at the Dale Co EMA or you can call and schedule a pick up.

The items will be sent once their trailer is full.
