DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) - Abbeville will have a new mayor for the next four years but the person leading the city won’t be decided for six more weeks.

Jimmy Money and Greg Grimsley have six more weeks of campaigning after outlasting current mayor Billy Helms and former mayor Jim Gigani.

In the race for city council, Brendt Murphy, Dexter Glanton, Vince Feggins and Jimmy Davis all won their races.

In place three, incumbent Dorthy Baker was unseated by Eddie Jones.
