DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) -

There are multiple masonic lodge chapters throughout the Wiregrass.

Today they worked as one to say thank you to a group of first responders.

Wiregrass masons including members of the Browns Crossroads, Ashford, and Columbia lodges cooked and served grilled burgers and sausages to Houston and Henry county law enforcement officers.

Dothan High School Junior ROTC cadets were also on the scene helping to prepare meals.

Providing lunch was their way of showing gratitude for all law enforcement officers do for the community.

“The police department does a tremendous job taking care of us, so this is a chance to feed them. One little bitty thing that we can do for them to say thank you,” says Wiregrass mason Tracey Adams.

Mike Schmitz Automotive Group, Southern Home Builders, Ace Hardware, and Sign Etcetera sponsored the lunch.
