TROY, Ala. (WTVY) - The Charles Henderson Trojans are coming off yet another playoff berth in 2019. That’s now ten straight years the Trojans have made it to the postseason, yet no wins there since 2014.

The Trojans lost some key members from last years team, but do have some guys coming back to keep an eye on, such as lineman Jalon Woods.

A factor this year CHHS is creating depth on both sides of the ball.

"Having younger guys ready to play because we know at anytime we were to get a positive test that kid is going to be out 14 days and we have to have the next kid ready," said head coach Brad McCoy. "That could mean a ninth grader. That could mean a younger guy who has never played before. Fall camp, getting prepared to block and tackle since we didn't have a spring training, is going to be vitally important.

The Trojans open the season next Friday against Montgomery Catholic.
