Lister Reeves has owned RBI Properties in Enterprise, Alabama since 2002. Just one skill he believes could benefit him if elected the next mayor of Enterprise.

“I’ve been in business for over 30 years with that years of experience in business it allows me to know a lot about how small businessmen operate,” said Enterprise mayoral candidate Lister Reeves. “I believe I know how to bring people together even during challenging times and even during times of adversity.”

If elected, he believes those years in business have prepared him to help lead Enterprise the next four years

“I’ve learned a lot about how to run a business, how to keep the doors open, how to facilitate budgets,” Reeves continued. “I understand those principles and I want to help the city not only reduce its debt but also want to help us grow our revenues.”

Reeves describes himself as a dreamer and that's what he thinks the City of Progress needs.

"Enterprise has a lot of room to grow and expand and I just believe that Enterprise is on the verge of taking that next step forward," Reeves added.

He already has ideas in mind to help feed that growth.

“Our streets and roads need a lot of help and bring more businesses to our area, more retail,” Reeves explained. “I’ve had a lot of people say we need more restaurants.”

It's not just all business for reeves as he wants to also be seen as personable.

"I want to get to know the city employees because I feel like sometimes, they are a forgotten entity in our city but they are what makes our city grow and they are what makes our city happen," Reeves finished.

Municipal elections will take place Tuesday August 25th.
