AFSP: Dothan Out of the Darkness ‘Experience’
Volunteers having to come together a little different this year.
DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) - The Alabama American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) has announced its dates for The ‘Out of the Darkness’ Dothan Experience this year.
This year the AFSP asks that volunteers join them online for the event. The event will be at 2:00 pm on November 8th at www.afsp.org/Dothan.
While the ‘Out of the Darkness’ Walk is going to look different this year, the mission to “Save Lives and Bring Hope to Those Affected by Suicide” has not changed.
This event supports the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention’s education and support programs, plus its bold goal to reduce the annual U.S. rate of suicide 20% by the year 2025.
In order to keep up to date with the most current information, you are encouraged to visit their website and register for the event.
Registration is free and open to the public, and Donations are also accepted until December 31st.
To donate or join this event, visit: www.afsp.org/Dothan.
