SYNOPSIS- Plenty of sunshine will be sticking around as we go throughout the rest of the day. The August heat continues as well, with highs continuing to reach the mid 90s and heat index values close to the triple digits. This of course is typical for the time of year. Tonight, expect clear skies and calm winds with lows in the mid 70s. Skies will stay mostly clear throughout the day on Monday with plenty of sunshine and warm temperatures reaching the mid 90s.

We stay dry tomorrow as well. Mostly sunny skies are expected till we get to Wednesday, which is when rain chances will really start to spike up as we see a big advancement in moisture. Expect widespread showers to last from Wednesday to Friday evening.
