ELBA, Ala. (WTVY) - While 8-4 may sound like a good season, it’s not so much in the Elba Tigers’ eyes. The Tigers exited the playoffs last season in the 2nd round and are ready to get back on track in class 2A.

Marc Sieving takes over as the Tigers head coach this season, a place he's always wanted to coach because as he put it, they win.

The Tigers have won two state titles in the last ten years and are focusing on themselves to get back there this year.

“I’m not really concerned about our opponents or what they are doing. We’re going to focus on us,” said Sieving. “Our player, our coaches, just focus on us. Getting better every single day, every single week, and just trying to improve. I feel like if we do that, all those things everybody wants like playoffs and opportunities to do something in the postseason will happen.”

The Tigers will open the season against the Daleville Warhawks.
