SYNOPSIS – After a hot and dry start to the month of August the tides are changing just a bit. Widespread afternoon showers and thunderstorms can be expected later this afternoon through Thursday afternoon. Peak rain chances range from 3 pm until 7 pm, main threats include heavy downpours and wind gusts at times 30-35 mph.

TODAY – Partly cloudy, scattered showers and thunderstorms. High near 95°. Winds WNW at 5-10 mph.

TONIGHT – Rain early then ending and partly cloudy. Low near 74°. Winds WNW at 5 mph.

TOMORROW – Partly cloudy, scattered showers and thunderstorms. High near 94°. Winds WNW 5-10 mph.
