SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) - Hundreds of utility trucks and crew members from almost 10 states were staged and ready at Daytona International Speedway on Saturday.

They’ll be helping FPL crews in its response to Hurricane Isaias.

FPL estimates a significant number of customers along the east coast to lose power.

The company is pre-positioning workers so they’re ready to re-store power right after the storm when it’s safe to do so.
