DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) - Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida has reopened all four of its resorts following state-mandated closures due to the coronavirus.

However, one of its rides will be closing for good.

That ride is Primeval Whirl, located in the Animal Kingdom part of the park.

The video you see above of the ride was used with permission from CoasterForce.

According to our sister CBS station, WKMG in Orlando, the coaster will no longer be taking riders aboard.

Opening back in 2002, Primeval Whirl was a steel wild mouse coaster located in the DinoLand USA part of Animal Kingdom.

It took riders on a ride of about a minute and 30 seconds up to speeds near 30 miles per hour, spinning riders in various ways in the process.

In the end, Primeval Whirl was operation in the park 18 years. No word yet on what, if anything, will replace this coaster at the park.
