SYNOPSIS – We’re in the midst of the “dog days of summer” known to coincide with some of the hottest northern hemispheric temps! That’s certainly how we will fare here over the next 5-7 days with highs in the middle to upper 90s. Rain chances will likely be in the forecast everyday the coverage over the area won’t be too impressive. We’re keeping an eye on a tropical wave that will likely pass west of here but could increase rain chances later this week.

TODAY – Mostly sunny, isolated afternoon thunderstorms. High near 97°. Winds SE at 5-10 mph.

TONIGHT – Any showers end then mainly clear. Low near 75°. Winds light and variable.

TOMORROW – Mostly sunny, isolated afternoon thunderstorms. High near 97°. Winds SE at 5-10 mph.
