DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) -Republican congressional candidates Jeff Coleman and Barry Moore met in their only debate before the July 14th runoff to be televised exclusively on WTVY.

Coleman, a Dothan businessman, finished first in the March 3 primary with 38.1 percent of the vote while Moore, a former state legislator, received 20.4 percent among a field of seven GOP hopefuls.

This race would have been settled months ago had it not been for the coronavirus pandemic that delayed the runoff until July 14.

The winner will face Phyllis Harvey-Hall, the Democratic nominee, in the November general election.
