New federal data shows fewer minorities signed up for health care under the Affordable Care Act than expected.
The numbers reveal 63-percent of Americans who did sign up are white.
16.7 percent are black, 10.7 percent are Latino and nearly 8-percent are Asian.
At least 31-percent of those enrolling did not report their race or ethnicity or chose "other."
The data also shows some 8 million people enrolled between October and March.
