Wiregrass Electric sends crew to help with Hurricane Nate clean-up

DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) — Wiregrass Electric Co-op sent crews to Mobile to help after Hurricane Nate.

12 men left Sunday to restore power to those in need.

The crews will be there until they aren’t needed anymore.

Widespread power outages were reported along the coast.

Wiregrass Electric Communications Manager Jennifer Ward says,
"Happy to help, we like to help our sister co-op's in heed, that is our way, it's what we do. The guys love it, and we know they would help us if the shoe were on the other foot."

Wiregrass Electric sent crews to Florida last month to help with Hurricane Irma as well.
