Waterspout in Florida caught on video

Dunedin, Florida (UGC / NBC News Channel) -- A waterspout formed off the Gulf Coast Of Florida Friday, that became both entertainment and a matter of concern.

The waterspout was over the Caladesi Island and Dunedin area.

Police took to social media to say it was spotted swirling off Pinellas County.

Weather experts say the waterspout developed in the intracoastal waterway and traveled southeast toward Dunedin.

The phenomenon lasted for about minutes, giving lifeguards on Clearwater Beach plenty of time to shoot this video.

No injuries or damages have been reported.
