DOTHAN Ala.(WTVY)- Teamwork is a lesson all students at Wallace Community college learned today.
One social worker, nurse, and doctor from Wallace Community College, Troy University, and ACOM worked together on figuring out this patient’s illness.
So who are these patients? Their paid ACOM employees. But Charlotte Platt says it’s not about the money, It’s about giving students real world experience.
“It's so helpful for the students to be able to see a live person and interact with a live person and we can throw things at them that a manikin won't so we interject things it's just good for them to deal with a live person."
