Volunteers needed to feed seniors

DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) — The Brown Bag Program of the Wiregrass is in need of caring volunteers to help pack groceries. The Brown Bag program provides 35-45 pounds of supplemental food on the third Wednesday of each month to seniors age 60 and older living below the poverty level.

Volunteers are needed to pack food for distribution at the Wiregrass Area Food Bank at 382 Twitchell Road in Dothan.

The volunteer opportunities for November are 7:30 – 11 a.m. Nov. 1, 2, and 9.
