ELBA -- (WTVY) The Elba City School board selected Chris Moseley to serve as the system’s new superintendent Thursday night.
The board voted 4 to 1 in favor of Moseley.
He is currently Elba High School’s principal.
“I would like to thank the board members for giving me this opportunity, and I look forward to working with the faculty and staff on continuing the great things that are going on in Elba city schools,” said Moseley.
The board hopes Moseley can begin work full time by November 1.
Moseley will succeed Chresal Threadgill, who resigned earlier this year to accept a post with the Board of Education in Mobile.
