Suspect behind New York truck terror attack being held without bail

NEW YORK (CBS Newspath) -- The man accused in the deadly Halloween truck attack in New York is being held without bail, after being charged with federal terrorism crimes.

New York City attack suspect Sayfullo Saipov was arrested on a warrant by the Missouri State Highway Patrol on October 21, 2016.

Sayfullo Saipov was charged Wednesday with providing material support to ISIS and violence and destruction of a motor vehicle.

At least 8 people were killed in the Halloween incident, two of them Americans.
