DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) — It's attracted thousands and brought back nightlife to downtown Dothan, if only for a few months out the year.
Foster Fest bows out for the season Friday night.
Whether it's the food, music, or fun of being downtown.
Dothan Downtown Redevelopment Authority marketing manager Jessica Parker says this year may have been the biggest one yet.
She says, "It is so important for people to know that things are happening downtown."
Foster Fest brings people from all walks of life together.
She says, "We have had a huge shift in the demographic of Foster Fest."
So how do you top it?
There is talk of having 8 Foster Fest events next year, starting in March instead of May and moving the event from every 3rd Friday, to every 1st Friday of the month.
"I can't give you all the details but the kickoff next year will be huge."
And those plans no doubt will include plenty of food, music, and fun in downtown Dothan.
