Pittsburgh, Penn. (KDKA / CBS Newspath) - The overnight snowfall caused slippery driving conditions and limited visibility. Salt plows spread out across the city ahead of the morning commute in the hopes of minimizing icy roads and snarled traffic.
While the heavy snow looked formidable, only two to three inches are expected in Pittsburgh while areas north and west of the city could see up to six inches in total.
Wind chills remained in the single digits and low teens Thursday morning.
