Search for new Elba School Superintendent nears end

The search for a new superintendent of the Elba city school system is nearing an end.

School board members are scheduled to vote this evening to fill the post.

Six finalists have been interviewed over the past two weeks.

They include Elba High School Principal Chris Moseley, Dothan High School Principal Stan Eldridge and Rehobeth Elementary School Principal Greg Yance.

The new hire will succeed former Elba School Superintendent Chresal Threadgill, who resigned earlier this year to accept a post with the board of education in his home town of Mobile.
