Salvation Army collecting canned food at local restaurant

DOTHAN, Al. (WTVY) -- With 2 major holidays coming up, the Salvation Army is kicking into high gear. They're partnering with Chick-Fil-A to collect non-perishable food for holiday food baskets. During the holiday season, they give out over a thousand food baskets. They try to fill them up with at least 20 cans of food. This allows low income families to eat through the holiday season. The boxes will be out from November 1st through the 30th.
