Remains of Pearl Harbor veteran returned to South Carolina

GREENVILLE, SC -- (WTVY) The remains of Milton Surratt arrived Thursday (Oct. 5) at Greenville Spartanburg airport.
Surratt of Greenville was one of the 429 crewmen killed aboard the USS Oklahoma Battleship when it was struck by Japanese torpedoes during the Pearl Harbor attacks in 1941.
His body was never identified or returned to his family until now.
A Government program that launched in 2015 identified his remains.
