Northview High's STARS students become TV meteorologists for a day

Dothan, Ala (WTVY) - Meteorologist Lauren Linahan stepped outside of the studio Thursday to talk weather with high schoolers at the Dothan Technology Center.

Lauren showed students of Northview High's STARS program about what it takes to be a broadcast meteorologist.

She got up on Northview High's green screen, and had the students help her with the 7-day forecast.

The STARS program stands for— Smart, Talented, Awesome, Radiant, Students.

All week, the STARS student have been learning about the ins-and-outs of broadcasting in Northview’s TV production class.
