DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) — The Alabama Elite Gymnastics Academy recently launched a new program tailored for special needs students.
It's called "All-In" standing for all-included and allows the students to learn in a safe and fun environment.
The program allows special needs children to learn in a fun and safe environment where goals are set on a weekly basis.
So far the program has about 10 to 15 children signed up.
Danielle Williams, Director of All-In Special Needs Sports says:
"It's almost like therapy and they don't even realize it, but they have a lot of fun in here. Usually they walk in and they are like wow and they just stand here for a minute and they love it."
Classes are held Wednesdays and Fridays at 3:30, 4:30, and 5:30.
