DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) -- Houston County District Attorney's Office donated more than ten thousand dollars to the Sheriff's Office.
They’ll use that money to buy one K-9.
The sheriff's office will use its own funding to purchase another dog.
In total there will be four dual purpose dogs and four blood hound tracking dogs.
It will take about 3 weeks to get the dual purpose dogs trained and ready to work.
