New Wiregrass Transit loop to begin in Dothan January 22nd

DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) — The new schedule starts January 22, 2018 and every Monday and Thursday thereafter. The pick up place is the Alfred Saliba Family Services Center, 301 West Lafayette Street in Dothan.

9:00 a.m.: Wiregrass Transit we will pick up riders from the Alfred Saliba Family Services Center and take them to the Southeast Alabama Medical Center (SAMC) at 1108 Ross Clark Circle and then the Dothan Career Center at 787 Ross Clark Circle. When the rider is ready to come back, call 334-794-4093 ext. “0” and Wiregrass Transit will send a bus to take you back to the Alfred Saliba Family Services Center.

10:30 a.m.: Wiregrass Transit will return to the Saliba Center to go to Flowers Hospital at 4370 West Main St. and the Social Security Office at 1778 Whatley Drive. When the rider is ready to come back, call 334-794-4093 ext. “0” and Wiregrass Transit will send a bus to take you back to the Alfred Saliba Family Services Center.

$2.00 each direction or Wiregrass Transit Vouchers. If you need Transit Vouchers, contact the Saliba Center at 334-712-1542.

This route can change and have more stops on those parts of town if Wiregrass Transit has enough riders.
