McDonald's testing fresh beef burger in limited markets

TULSA, Okla. (NBC News Channel) -- McDonald's is testing a new beef.

The fast food chain is testing fresh beef in a new burger called "Archburger" in seven restaurants in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

It's the latest move by the restaurant to swap out frozen beef as it seeks to improve its image.

In recent years McDonald's cut artificial preservatives from Chicken McNuggets and switched to a lower sugar apple juice in its Happy Meals.

This latest test is limited, and the company seeks feedback from customers and its restaurants.
