Holmes County student makes threat to bring gun to school

BONIFAY, Fla. (WTVY) -- Around 7pm Tuesday night, the Houston County Sheriff's Office received word that a student threatened to bring a gun to school.

A mother of a Holmes County High School student reported that their child was told by another student to stay home from school Wednesday.

The 9th grade student was reportedly heard making threats of bringing a gun to school to shoot other students.

Holmes County Sheriff's Office investigators say the student told them there were other students involved in making the threats.

The Holmes County says the teenager will be facing criminal charges.
