UPDATE: FHP looking for dark-colored Toyota in fatal hit and run

Panama City Beach (WTVY)-- Florida Highway Patrol continues to search for the vehicle involved in a fatal hit-and-run Saturday night.

It happened on Highway 98 at the intersection of Gulf View Drive in Panama City around 7:41 p.m.

Investigators say a black or blue Toyota sedan that had been parked in the median pulled out in front of a motorcycle. Both the driver and passenger of the motorcycle were thrown in the collision.

The passenger, a 23-year-old woman from Benton, Arkansas, was then run over by another car and killed. She has not been identified.

The driver of the motorcycle, 52-year-old Robert Smith of Panama City, is in a Bay County hospital with critical injuries. Neither Smith nor the woman was wearing a helmet.

One person was killed and another seriously injured after a hit and run crash in Panama City Beach on Saturday.

The accident happened at Gulf View Drive and Panama City Beach Parkway.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, two cars and a motorcycle were involved in a crash. The person killed in the crash and the person injured were both on the motorcycle.

FHP said officials are looking for a white Toyota sedan-like vehicle that left the scene.
