The Centers For Disease Control now reports the geographic spread in Alabama is observed to be "Widespread", meaning lab confirmed cases along with elevated influenza (flu) like illness or reported outbreaks have happened in more than five of the eight Public Health Districts -- which has gone up from "Regional" or fewer than five of the eight.

Symptoms of the Flu include: high fever (typically 101-103), body aches, chills, and sometimes diarrhea and vomiting.

If you are looking to get your Flu vaccinations, you can call your local urgent care physicians.
