FLORIDA -- (WTVY) Florida Governor Rick Scott toured St. Johns County Thursday (Sept. 21) with state officials to survey the hurricane damage from Irma.
The Governor started his day by taking time to thank all of the responders and citizens alike for their heroic efforts put forth over the last week and now in the clean up effort.
Scott also made mention of the Florida citrus industry and the near fatal blow its crop has taken from the storm.
"Our citrus industry has really gotten hammered, so much flooding where they are."
Governor Scott met with the media on a beach to highlight the clean up efforts under way.
