DALEVILLE, Ala. (WTVY) - Daleville HS honored Pearl Harbor Thursday afternoon.
In honor of the historic day, the school's JROTC Program held a special presentation for some of their students.
The attack on Pearl Harbor was a surprise military strike by the Imperial Japanese Navy Air Service against the United States Naval Base at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.
More than 2,400 Americans died in the attack, including civilians, wounding another 1,000 people.
In addition to flags flying at half mast, the JROTC had a short lesson presented by Colonel Retired Teresa A. Townsend.
