A new Canadian study suggests appreciating nature -- boosts happiness and well-being.

Researchers asked a group of adults to take photos -- and write about -- how trees, flowers and other nearby nature made them fee.

After two weeks, they felt happier and more connected to others than people asked to document human-made objects.
