Alabama lawmaker wants to ban smoking in a vehicle with children

ALABAMA -- (WTVY) Birmingham Representative Rolanda Hollis pre-filed legislation that would make it illegal to smoke cigarettes, cigars, pipes, or other tobacco products in a car with any minor passenger.
Violators could be fined up to $100.
Eight states have prohibited smoking in vehicles with children.
Alabama's legislative session begins on January 9th.
