(CNN) -- Nintendo is banking on nostalgia to drive sales during its release of the SNES classic.
The console, which releases today, is a throwback to the early-90's golden era of Nintendo gaming.
Getting your hands on last year's NES classic was next to impossible. So if you're looking to pick one up this Christmas, be prepared to shop around.
Back in 1991, Super Nintendo games came on big cartridges. You might remember blowing into them.
But in this version, Nintendo includes 20 classic games plus one that was never released, Star Fox 2, all built right in.
The SNES Classic sales for $80 per unit.
