A new Tropical Depression has formed in the Atlantic and has the potential to bring rain and winds to many of the Caribbean Islands.
Tropical Depression Nine has formed east of the Lesser Antilles Islands, as of 4am Central Time Tuesday morning.
Currently, the storm is packing sustained winds of 35 miles per hour. It is moving to the west at 20 miles per hour.
Tropical Storm Watches and Warnings are in effect throughout the Caribbean—for places such as Barbuda, St. Kitts & Nevis, the British Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
This has a strong potential of becoming Tropical Storm Issac later today.
