NOAA 2013 Hurricane Forecast Released

South of Baja California, Miriam has been downgraded to a Tropical Storm.
At one time a Major Hurricane, Miriam is now a Tropical Storm with sustained winds of 70 mile hour. It continues to move to the northwest at 6 miles per hour, as of 4am Central Time.
The storm is expected to continue to weaken over the next day or two. At the moment, however, Tropical Storm force winds extend outward over 100 miles from the center of this storm.
It could cause life-threatening rip and surf conditions along parts of the Baja California peninsula, but is not a significant threat to the United States at this time.
