Many thousands of miles away from where Hurricane Sandy made landfall, another Tropical Storm is brewing, but will not affect land.
Tropical Storm Rosa, over eight hundred miles to the southwest of Mexico’s Cabo San Lucas, was moving to the west at a very slow two miles an hour as of Thursday morning.
The storm was packing 60 miles per hour sustained winds. But, forecasters with the National Hurricane Center out of Miami, Florida say that “gradual weakening is forecast during the next 48 hours.”
The storm is not expected to affect Mexico or any major land masses as it drifts in the Pacific.
