Day 15: Tropical Storm Nadine Carries on in Atlantic

Tropical Storm Nadine is now in its fifteenth day as a tropical system in the Atlantic Ocean.

Now over 500 miles south/southwest of the Azores Islands, Nadine is still a Tropical Storm, packing sustained winds of 45 miles per hour, with a few higher gusts.

As of 4am Central Time, the storm continues is south/southwestern movement at a meager five miles per hour.

The storm could turn more westerly by late tomorrow evening, but it is still not expected to threaten any major land masses at this time.
