Updated: 11/24/2008 - NBC Universal made the first of potentially several rounds of staffing cuts at The Weather Channel (TWC) on Wednesday, axing the entire staff of the “Forecast Earth” environmental program during the middle of NBC’s “Green Week”, as well as several on-camera meteorologists.
Updated: 11/24/2008 - You may have noticed, in fact, that Al and his pals, having given up on the sun, no longer even warning of global warming. Now it’s “climate change.”
Posted: 11/24/2008 - A report by the UN Environment Program had claimed that the cause of the melting glaciers was not global warming but the local warming effect of a vast “atmospheric brown cloud” hanging over that region, made up of soot particles from Asia’s dramatically increased burning of fossil fuels and deforestation.
Posted: 11/24/2008 - Other than oxygen, there is no other gas more essential to life on Earth than CO2. Regulating it is absurd!

Updated: 11/20/2008 - Over the last few years, the evidence that sunspots on our sun are directly related to climate change on earth has been steadily increasing. In contrast the argument that man-made carbon dioxide (CO2) is causing warming does not fit the facts at all.

Posted: 11/19/2008 - A flawed outlook on climate change (formerly known as Global Warming - which, whoops, has not occurred since 1998 - and HUMAN induced warming on a GLOBAL scale has never been proven) has been popularized in the mainstram media (regardless of the facts). Unfortunately, the 'global warming misinformation' still resonates among those not willing or able to research the facts.
Posted: 11/19/2008 - A bitterly cold Alaskan summer has had surprising results. For the first time in the area’s recorded history, area glaciers have begun to expand, rather than shrink.

Updated: 11/18/2008 - Green Week is upon us again, time for more global warming scare-mongering by the NBC family of networks. Nearly two dozen prominent scientists from around the world have denounced a recent Associated Press article promoting sea level fears in the year 2100 and beyond based on unproven computer models predictions.

Posted: 11/17/2008 - Here’s another way of looking at things: global warming is good. And if there’s any bad news at all about global warming, it’s that it might be about over.
Posted: 11/17/2008 - Many proponents of the IPCC’s (United Nation's climate panel) AGW (human induced global warming) hypothesis consider the evidence for their theory incontrovertible and view it as “settled science.” However, the “skeptics” are by no means without credentials. They are former NASA scientists, university professors, physicists, climatologists, and National Academy of Science researchers, who are highly respected in their fields.
Posted: 11/17/2008 - Al Gore launched 'An Inconvenient Truth' at just the right time to exploit fears that Hurricane Katrina was a sign of things to come...But, once again, the climate refuses to behave as the alarmists predicted: The past two years have seen a “remarkable” downturn in hurricane activity.
Posted: 11/17/2008 - One day back in February on a ski-lift, I commented to the others that 2008 would be the year when the “Anthropic Global Warming” (AGW) bubble would burst. My prediction seems to be coming true.
Updated: 11/17/2008 - A surreal scientific blunder last week raised a huge question mark about the temperature records that underpin the worldwide alarm over global warming.
Posted: 11/17/2008 - The ice movement in western Greenland over the past 17 years has slowed significantly.
Updated: 11/17/2008 - Thanks to Richard Mackey and John McLean this blast from the past. This 1933 paper, ”Is our climate changing? A study of long-term temperature trends” by J B Kincer of the U S Weather Bureau in Washington DC published in the Monthly Weather Review Vol 61 pages 251 to 259, has an eerie resonance with the current debate.
Updated: 11/17/2008 - Despite weakening Santa Ana winds, the fire danger will remain extremely high across Southern California until a shift to onshore flow Tuesday allows for a rise in humidity levels and a fall in temperatures. Since Thursday night, fires have destroyed hundreds of homes and forced the evacuation of over 10,000 people.
