Damaging Thunderstorms Threatening the Southern Plains

Posted: 04/18/2009 - A slow moving storm system currently centered across the central Plains will finally begin to move eastward tonight into Sunday. This is the same storm system that has produced flooding rains and damaging storms across portions of Texas and Oklahoma the last few days. As the storm shifts eastward, the risk of damaging thunderstorms will shift into the Lower Mississippi Valley and eventually the rest of the Southeast.

More Flooding for North Dakota
