***Few Areas Of Light Snow For The Northeast***

***Rain And Snow Developing For The Rockies And Plains***

With A Large Scale Upper Level Trough Situated Over Eastern North
America, Temperatures Are Expected To Be At Least 10 Degrees Below Average For Many Areas East Of The Mississippi River Through
Monday.

This Is Also Compliments Of A Sprawling Surface High From Canada, And This Air Mass Also Extendds Through Florida.

A Blocking Pattern Over The North Atlantic Is Keeping This Trough In
Place. Other Than A Few Patchy Areas Of Light Snow Showers Over
The Central Appalachians And Northeast, Along With Some Light Rain Over South Florida, Most Of The Eastern U.S. Should Be
Precipitation Free Through The Weekend.

Elsewhere, Periods Of Rain And High Elevation Snow Are Expected To Return To The Western U.S. And Western Canada By Sunday As Another Shortwave And Associated Cold Front Arrives.

By The End Of The Weekend And Into Monday, A Developing Storm System Is Expected Over The Northern Plains That Will Likely Bring Significant Snow To The Dakotas And Into The Upper Midwest By Monday, Along With Gusty Winds.

Another Developing Area Of Low Pressure Over Oklahoma On Monday Is Expected To Eventually Produce Showers And Thunderstorms For The Gulf Coast Region.
