With A Large Scale Upper Level Trough Situated Over Eastern North
America, Temperatures Are Expected To Be At Least 10 Degrees Below Average For Many Areas East Of The Mississippi River Through
Sunday.

This Is Also Compliments Of A Sprawling Surface High From Canada, And This Air Mass Is Also Reaching Through The Entire
State Of Florida.

Other Than A Few Patchy Areas Of Light Snow And Rain Showers Over The Central Appalachians And Northeast, Most Of The Eastern U.S. Should Be Precipitation Free Through The Weekend.

Elsewhere, Periods Of Rain And High Elevation Snow Are Expected To Return To The Pacific Northwest And Western Canada By Saturday As Another Shortwave And Associated Cold Front Arrives. Some Of This Moisture Is Forecast To Reach The Northern Rockies, Mainly In The Form Of Snow Showers.

By The End Of The Weekend And Into Monday, A Developing Storm System Is Expected Over The Northern High Plains And Into The Central Rockies That Will Likely Bring Rain And Mountain Snow To The Region, Along With Gusty Winds.
