Upper-Level Energy Over Western Canada Will Slowly Dig Southward To The Northern Rockies By Monday. A Front Associated With The Energy That Rests Along The Western U.S./Canadian Border Will Advance Eastward To The Upper Great Lakes And Southward To The Central Plains/Rockies And The Great Basin, Likewise By Monday.

The System Will Produce Snow From Parts Of The Pacific Northwest To The Northern/Central Rockies Through Sunday Afternoon. There Will Also Be Afternoon/Evening Lower Elevation Rain During This Time Period.

As The Front Begins To Come Out Of The Rockies, The Storm Will Get A Connection To A Weak Moisture Source Producing Light Snow Over The Upper Mississippi Valley/Northern Plains On Sunday Morning With Snow Lingering Along The U.S./Canadian Border Over The Upper Midwest Through Monday Morning.

Showers And Thunderstorms Will Develop Over Parts Of The Northern/Central High Plains On Saturday Evening. Rain Will Develop Over The Middle/Lower Missouri Valley And Becomes Light To Moderate Rain Over The Upper Mississippi Valley Into The Upper Great Lakes By Monday.

For A Brief Period Of Time, An Area Of Rain/Freezing Rain Will Develop Over Parts Of The Northern Plains Late Saturday Night/ Sunday Morning. In Addition, Light To Moderate Rain Will Develop Over Parts Of The Central Plains With Embedded Thunderstorms On Monday Morning.

Upper-Level Energy Over The Southeast Will Trigger A Few Waves Of Low Pressure Along A Front Over Southern Florida. The Boundary Will Aid In Producing Showers And Thunderstorms Over Parts Of Florida That Will Expand Along The Coastal Regions Of The Southern Mid-Atlantic And The Eastern/Central Gulf Coast By Monday. The Rain Will Become More Moderate In Intensity In The Thunderstorms Over Southeast Florida On Monday Morning Too.

Elsewhere, An Upper-Level Trough Over The Great Lakes Will Quickly Move Into Southeastern Canada By Sunday. The Energy Will Trigger Light Lake Effect Snow Over The Lower Great Lakes/Northern Appalachians On Saturday Evening.

Additionally, Return Flow Off The Western Gulf Of Mexico Will Produce Light Rain And Thunderstorms Over Parts Of Southern Texas On
Monday Morning.
