US Short Range Weather thru Dec 8

More Rain Expected For The Northwest With Higher Elevation Snows..

Light Rain Showers Possible Along A Boundary From The Northern Plains To The Northeast...

The Heavy And Soaking Rains Which Plagued Northern California The Past Week Has Finally Come To An End And Northern California And Southern Oregon Should Stay Dry Throughout The Entire Forecast Period.

Continued Onshore Flow Off The Pacific However... Should Allow For Some Lingering Lower Elevation Rain And Mountain Snow Across Northern Oregon... Washington... And Into The Intermountain West.

On Thursday Evening... Yet Another Frontal System Will Make Its Way Onshore. This Could Bring Another Shot Of Light To Moderate Precipitation To Parts Of The Pacific Northwest. Some Moisture Could Carry Into Parts Of The Intermountain West And Northern Plains On Friday As The Front Moves Inland And Across The Northern Rockies By Early Saturday. With This... Snowfall Will Return Downstream With Some Accumulation Expected Across The Higher Elevations Of The Northern And Central Rockies.

Elsewhere... A Frontal System Stretching From Canada Into The
Southern Plains Will Move Through The Midwest On Thursday And Into The Northeast By Saturday Morning. Some Rain Is Possible Along And Ahead Of The Boundary In The Midwest On Thursday And The Ohio River Valley And Much Of The Northeast On Friday. For The Most Part However... Precipitation Should Be Relatively Light And Scattered In Nature Given The Limited Moisture Availability With
This Front.

The Southern Portion Of This Front Will Sink All The Way Into Northern Texas By Thursday Afternoon Bringing With It Some Much Cooler Temperatures Compared To The Past Few Days Across The Southern Plains.

Finally Out East... The Stubborn Southern Portion Of A Boundary
Which Pushed Off The Coast Yesterday... Continues To Linger Across
Northern Florida Through The Rest Of The Work Week. Combined With Abundant Gulf Of Mexico Moisture... This Could Bring Some Light
And Scattered Rain And Thunderstorms To Select Coastal Regions In
Louisiana And Mississippi As Well As Portions Of Florida To The

North Of This.. Temperatures Have Returned To Near Seasonal But Could Increase Again On Friday As The Previously Mentioned Front Making Its Way East Pushes Warm Air Ahead Of It And Into The Region.
