Push Into The Midwest Early This Weekend.

Moisture Streaming Out Of The Gulf Of Mexico Will Continue To Fuel Widespread Shower Activity Out Ahead Of The System On Saturday... From The Western Gulf Coast To The Great Lakes.

Thunderstorms Will Be Possible Farther South...While Temperatures Will Be Low Enough To Support Snow And Freezing Rain Within The Northern Fringe Of The Precipitation Shield.

By Early Sunday...The Recently Dry Conditions Over Much Of The Eastern U.S. Will Begin To Deteriorate As The Surface Cyclone Tracks Through The Upper Great Lakes And The Trailing Cold Front Approaches The Appalachians.

The Tail End Of The Boundary Will Be Slow To Push Through The Tennessee And Lower Mississippi Valleys...Allowing For Some More Organized Areas Of Showers And Thunderstorms To Develop South Of The Front.

Farther North...A Warm Front Surging North Out Of The Mid-Atlantic
States Could Lead To Some Patchy Areas Of Freezing Rain Across
Portions Of New England.

Upstream...Another System Is Expected To Cross The Southwest And
Then Eject Out Into The Central Plains. This System Will Be
Sufficiently Weaker Than The Storm Currently Sprawled Over The
Central U.S....But Should Still Trigger Widespread Snow Showers
Across The Four Corner States On Saturday.

Meanwhile...A Parade Of Pacific Storms Moving Inland Will Bring
Active Weather To The Northwestern Corner Of The Country This
Weekend. Moderate To Heavy Rains Are Expected Along Coastal
Regions From Northern California To British Columbia. Farther
Inland...Widespread Snow Showers Will Be In The Forecast Over The
Intermountain West And Northern Rockies...With The Most
